What information do we collect?

Information you provide directly

• Passwords stored using bcrypt hashing — never in plain text

Children and parent accounts

TL;DR — PiggyBucket accounts are for parents. Children's data is entered and managed by the parent account holder.

PiggyBucket is designed for use by parents and guardians (who must be 18 or older) to manage virtual allowance accounts on behalf of their minor children. Children do not register for or directly access PiggyBucket accounts. Any data entered about a child — such as their first name or virtual balance — is entered by the parent and remains under the parent's control.
